"A Closer Look" represents a safe space for people to be closer to the subject of decay without feeling disgusted or fearful. The small and meticulous engravings allow for an intimate experience where the mould is within an enclosed space inside Petri dishes. Presented as fragile and delicate, one is able to take a closer look at the potential danger without feeling vulnerable and exposed.
