Glitched is about the cultural disconnect the artist experiences while interacting with her extended family in China, especially her grandparents. In the image, she is the only one glitched out, representing her inability to fit in and understand the mainland Chinese culture as a result of her Singaporean upbringing. The canvas strips that represent the glitch are woven into the painting, showing how the artist's Singaporean identity is an inseparable part of her.
