The artist's grandmother's kitchen holds many memories as it is where she prepares meals whenever the family visits, or during the Chinese New Year festival. The five small paintings are the views one sees from different parts of the kitchen. The words linking the paintings are a message the artist has written to her grandmother, to thank her and to preserve the memories in her house. Along with the fading dots, the artist hopes to show the passing of time and evoke nostalgia as she touches on memories of the past.
