This artwork explores the attributes that make a space unappealing for living. The sculpture mimics the function of DVD 'scarers', a type of makeshift device used to ward off birds deemed as pests. Interestingly, the shiny surfaces that disorientate and deter birds are instead attractive to humans. However, the sharp corners and edges of these sculptural forms pose a danger to us instead.
